Introduction

Evatic Map is an extension of the project summary in Evatic Service. Map will always show the same projects as in the project summary. Only task which are not assigned will normally be shown in the map. Start the Map module by pressing the button in the toolbar.

Explanation to the map:

1. The tasks will be shown in the map as different coloured circles. The colours represent the same colours as in the project summary. In other words the tasks will have colours depending e.g. on priority or when the response time deadline has been over stepped or is about to be. If you put the cursor on one task, the project number and customer name are displayed. More information about the task are to be found under Menu for tasks.

2. The technicians are displayed as cars with different colours on the roof. The technicians car is placed at the address which shows the latest assigned service task. If the technician has no tasks assigned, the car is placed at his home address. The colour represent the amount of open service tasks which each technician has. Many tasks (red), several tasks (yellow), or few tasks (green). The limit for the different colours can be controlled by your administrator (Settings/COMPANY_XXX->MAP_INTEGRATION->TASK_RESOURCE_LIMIT_1 or COMPANY_XXX->MAP_INTEGRATION->TASK_RESOURCE_LIMIT_2.)

3. On the left side you can have a list of shortcuts. This list will show the most used map parts. How to add and change short cuts are explained under How to handle short cuts.

4 . The menu line gives you the possibility to move around in the map and also give you more information about the projects.

Go to start map.

Forward/Back

Zoom out and keep the midsection of the map. Zoom out/in.

Move the map clip to the west.

Move the map clip to the north.

Move the map clip to the south.

Move the map clip to the east.

Show technician's route. This button turns on/off the planned task route for the technician. The dispatcher decide the planned order of the tasks by assigning the tasks in the order he pleases (read more under Rout planner). This button is for all the technicians.

By right clicking on each technician and selecting <Show route>, only the marked technicians route will be displayed.

Display info on technician

By selecting this option each technician is displayed with technician number

Display response time on project

By selecting this option each project is shown with response time.
