Route planning
The dispatcher in Evatic Map is responsible for the planning of the technicians tasks. This means that he/she decides which order the tasks should be completed. The best way for planning the route is to assign the tasks by using method 1, explained in chapter How to assign a task. If you are using Evatic Mobile, the technician will receive the tasks in the order the dispatcher is assigning the tasks. The tasks gets the status Checked out and will vanish from the map and be blocked for editing . The technicians car will move to the last checked out task coordinates. Your administrator can decide how many tasks should be synchronized each time to Evatic Mobile. If this number is set to e.g. 1 or 2, the dispatcher is still able to plan the remaining assigned tasks, and maybe change the jobs to another technician if that is necessary. If you are not using Evatic Mobile, you can right click on the task and select the status Checked out to indicate that the technician has started on the service task. This task will also vanish from the map and the technicians car will move to the last checked out task coordinates.
The planned route can be shown by right clicking on a technician and
selecting <Show route> from the menu. Or
you can use the button to show all technicians.
