Create new integration
To add a new integration got to the integration tab and click the + Add integration button, choose the required integration and press the corresponding Create button.
A new window will open where the user has the possibility to select the required connection and fill in the relevant information. All the existent connections should be available in a drop-down box:
Please contact your IT-administrator for the URL-descriptions of some external systems if this connection data is not yet known.

Evatic recommends carrying out the meter-mapping on a “per model-type” level only.
This is to avoid wrong meter-counts for some color-machines, as sometimes not all machines are correctly using LIFECOUNT MONO, LIFECOUNT COLOR and LIFECOUNT TOTAL.
To start a meter-mapping, open a contracted device in Evatic Service that is managed on the external system.
Select the external meter that you want to map in the device-view and click the Edit button.
A new view appears from which you can select the available meter types in Evatic Service.
Important: Make sure the checkbox for Only use this mapping for the model [XY] is checked to ensure correct mapping.
There are exceptions, but in general this is the safest way.
The status of all meter-mappings is visible on the tab Map meters.
Similar to meter mappings, the system allows mapping consumables (i.e. toners, waste-toner). This is limited only by the available supplier data from the external system.
Open the device-view, select the consumable types to map and click the Edit button. A new window appears to create the mapping to an available consumable type in Evatic Service.
Also, to be on the safe side here, make sure to check the button Only use this mapping for the model [XY] to ensure correct mapping in your model-pool. This is because sometimes the supply definitions are not necessarily consistent in external systems.
In case any changes are done on the consumable labels, then the mapping will no longer function and a new mapping rule needs to be defined.
The system is also able to react on waste-toner levels. This is a special supply type, due to the fact that in most cases it has just two possible values: 100% or 0%. In this scenario the waste-toner – if falling to 0% - will immediately trigger a “minimum level” rule in Evatic Service for delivery.
If the external system’s supply levels differ from the 100% maximum and 0% minimum standard calculation rule, then the Evatic Service Hub tool offers a way to re-calculate or “transform” the incoming value into another outgoing value (send to Evatic Service) by using a “function”. This is optional.
